For brands that we are not 'official' stockists off carry a 1 year seller warranty. This basically means if the watch develops a fault in the warranty period you will have to send the watch back directly to The Watch Master for repair or replacement under warranty.
What does your warranty cover?
The warranty covers mechanical faults i.e problems with the movement, hands and dial. We will repair your watch if it proves to be defective. In the unlikely case your watch cannot be repaired a replacement will be offered. If your model is not available, a watch of equal value or style will be provided.
Things which are not covered by the warranty:
Loss of stones or discolouration.
Scratches, wear and tear or misuse.
Damage caused by bracelet adjustment. Any damage caused adjusting the strap is the customer's responsibility. We advise you use a watch specialist to do this, especially with Ceramic bracelets.
Repairs carried out by any third party will void the warranty.
Watch straps are not covered by the warranty.
Water damage. Please see water resistance guide here.
Please be advised that repairs may take up to 7 - 28 days.
If your watch becomes defective within 30 days we will pay for returns postage, please note anything after 30 days you would be liable for postage costs. We recommend you use a tracked service as we will not be held liable if the parcel is lost in transit.
Water resistance only applies to the watch case; certain watch straps should not be worn under water or subjected to wet conditions.
Avoid exposing your watch to excessive temperature variations.
Clean your watch regularly by wiping it with a soft cloth dampened with fresh water.
All scratches and knocks will eventually damage plating. Once damaged, day to day wear, perspiration and perfume will erode the plating (applies to galvanic gold-plated, ion-plated and pvd-finished watches)
Strap / Bracelet care:
The lifespan of your watch strap will depend on your care and wearing habits.
Leather strap watches should be kept dry as water may cause the leather to brittle and eventually break
Please avoid contact with perfumes, spirits or petroleum products as these may damage seals, straps or case/bracelet.
By purchasing a watch from The Watch Master you are confirming that you accept these terms.
